Terms of service

The agreement between your church and Sermon Replay. Effective October 14, 2026. Written in plain words on purpose; the plain words are the binding ones.

1. Who this is between

Sermon Replay is run by Hanyang Presbyterian Church, a California nonprofit religious corporation (“we”, “us”). “You” means the church or ministry whose staff create an account, and each staff member who uses it. The person who signs up confirms they have the authority to agree for their church.

These terms, together with our About & privacy page, are the whole agreement. If you sign up, you accept them.

2. Your sermons stay yours

You own every recording, transcript, and sermon you give us. We claim nothing in them.

To do the work, you give us permission to copy, transcribe, translate, summarize, read aloud, store, and publish your sermons, and to send them to the services listed on the About page for those purposes only. This permission lasts while your account is open and, for pages you chose to publish, until you take them down. We will not use your sermons to train AI models, for ads, or for anything you did not ask for.

3. The narrator's voice

A recap can be read aloud by a narrator voice your church picks from fish.audio's public library. We never copy the pastor's voice, or anyone else's, from your recordings. Some library voices were uploaded by other users and imitate real people or characters; you are responsible for picking one your church has the right to use.

4. AI does the first draft; you check it

Sermon Replay is a hosting and facilitation platform, like a digital marketplace: an online space where each church uploads, manages, and distributes its own sermon-related content. Every sermon, prayer, and related material is created and supplied by the church, not by us. Our role is limited to translating, summarizing, reading aloud, and preparing output videos for the church's congregation. We do not originate, edit for substance, verify, or endorse any theological content, doctrinal statement, or religious message a church provides.

Transcripts, translations, outlines, and spoken recaps are made by automated systems. They make mistakes, including mistakes about Scripture and doctrine. You review the work before you publish it, and you are responsible for what you publish. We give you a review step for exactly this reason.

5. What you promise about uploads

You upload only what you have the right to upload. In particular:

  • Recordings your church made or has permission to use.
  • No music or copyrighted material beyond the sermon itself, unless you hold the rights.
  • Nothing unlawful, hateful toward a person or group, or meant to harass.
  • No recordings where the speaker is a child under 13.

If any copyrighted video, audio, or other material becomes part of an output Sermon Replay produces for you, you are solely responsible for obtaining every license it requires under United States copyright law. You remain fully responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of everything you submit.

We may remove content that breaks these rules and may close an account that keeps doing so.

6. Public pages

Recaps and transcripts you publish are public. Anyone with the link can read, watch, and share them. You can take any page down at any time from the app. If someone asks us to remove something, we will tell you and may take it down while we sort it out.

7. Payment

  • Your price depends on your church's size. You tell us how many people come on a typical Sunday: up to 50 is $50 a month, 51 to 100 is $100 a month, and more than 100 is $250 a month. You can change your size from your billing page. Payments go through Stripe, and we never see your card number.
  • Free trial. New accounts get a 30-day free trial. A card is required to start it. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
  • Cancel anytime. Cancel from your billing page. You keep access until the end of the month you paid for. No further charges.
  • Refunds. We do not refund a month that has started. If something went wrong on our side, email us and we will make it right, which may include a refund at our discretion.
  • Price changes. We will email you at least 14 days before a price change takes effect. The new price applies from your next billing date after that.
  • Failed cards. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. While it is unpaid, you cannot start new recaps or live captions. Your published pages stay up. If the payment is still owed after 30 days, we may close the account under section 9.

8. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. For a material change, one that affects your rights, your sermons, or what you pay, we will email the account owner at least 14 days before it takes effect. Small fixes may take effect when posted. The date at the top and the list at the bottom always show what changed and when.

If you keep using Sermon Replay after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, cancel before that date and you are not bound by them.

9. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may close an account that breaks these terms or stays unpaid, with notice by email where we reasonably can.

Uploaded recordings are deleted 30 days after upload no matter what. When an account closes, we unpublish your pages within 30 days and delete everything else within 90 days, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records. Ask, and we will delete sooner.

10. The legal part

No warranty.Sermon Replay is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be error-free or always available.

Limited liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law. California law governs these terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California. We will try to settle any disagreement by talking first.

Other. If a court strikes one part of these terms, the rest still stands. You may not transfer your account to another organization without asking us. Our not enforcing a term once does not waive it.
